At First You Hurt Me (Ft GajeelXLevy): Chapter 2
Levy quickly realised in her first couple of hours of being in Fairy Hills, that this was not going to be a quiet year. In between unpacking her clothes, she had made her way down the hall to the general common area and met some of the other girls that had moved into the dorm rooms around her. "Cana is going to be your go-to woman if you are looking for a night of partying" Lucy had said, motioning to the brunette woman who was nursing a bottle of wine, and chatting to a couple of other students on the couch. "I haven't heard of anyone who has been able to outdrink her yet though, so don't let her pour you your drinks, she will get super competitive." Levy had chuckled at this. She hadn't really ever had the opportunity to go out drinking while at home. She had a really large family, and any time not spent at work, school or social clubs were spent with them. She did want to try drinking at one point, but maybe Cana wasn't the best person to do this with for the first time. "And

MAGNOLIA UNIVERSITY EST. 378 Founder: Mavis Vermillion "Mistakes aren't made by locking your feelings away and holding back, they're made while wearing your heart on your sleeve" The bluenette pressed her hand against the cool stone of the university signage, tracing her finger's over each letter as she began to take in her surroundings. The road ahead of her was overwhelmed with the influx of newly arrived students for the first day of term. There were people hauling luggage towards the dorms, closely followed by anxious family, those laughing and reuniting with friends from the previous years, and those… well she didn't quite know what to make of it, but it seemed like two boys were engaged in fiery hand-to-hand combat on one of the main quads. "Are you absolutely sure you don't want to change your mind Levy? I still think we could find you somewhere closer to home" The meek woman was wringing her hands, looking in the direction of the two boys that were fighting. They appeared to

The voice from two weeks ago spoke to you again as you slept in the castle that night. Earlier on you had woken up shaking with tears. You leaned your head against your legs , pressing your fingernails into the nearly fading bruises from a few weeks earlier. This was the first time you had ever spent a night away from home. Once your mum had realized you were sick sleepovers were out of the question, obviously. You couldn't wake up Jack again since he'd come to give you some dream dust only two hours ago. You didn't even know where he was. Every voice inside of you was screaming at you to get out of the bed, out of this castle. To move

You sat with Jack silently as North brought the two of you a mug of hot chocolate. Tooth unfortunately had to leave due to panic at the Tooth Palace. However Bunnymund and Sandy still hung around the factory. Bunnymund you knew was currently in the process of convincing a group of Yetis to come and help him paint eggs in time for Easter.
In your hand you fumbled the small black bottle that North had given to you. It was cool to touch and you felt a sense of queasiness when you held it for too long. You could sense that Jack was constantly looking your way even though he pretended to be fiddling around with his staff. Normally you woul
I forgot how much I truly hated the Alley’s. Actually no scratch that. How much I hated the Night shift. Combine the two and you have arrived at my situation, hell. Call me grumpy but if you had been crouched in the same spot for three hours, you wouldn’t be feeling joyous. The smell of rotten fish was probably the only thing keeping me awake. What time is it anyway? One thirty? Three?
I awkwardly attempted to shift the weight of my body against the wall as another droplet of water trickled down my back. I wouldn't be surprised if I caught a plague from being stuck here. My feet already felt like they were slowly being welded tog

You remember your mother telling you as a child that “Time flies when you’re having fun, yet it tends to stand still in moments of hardship". A line that you presumed she must have taken from a fantasy, or fairy tale novel. Being the realist that you were as a child, you would always respond something along the lines of "That’s not true, time doesn’t change at all! It's always constant."
"...You are a creation of Pitch Black."
Seven simple, non-complex words. Words that probably would have held no significance to you before two weeks ago. Yet the moment the last syllable left Jack's lips, time around you froz

Two long weeks had passed since the 'Bruising' incident. Two weeks that you were quite certain were the most relaxing that you had in a while. Well there was that minor issue of that snow-wielding guardian, but that was an issue you were definitely trying to avoid. You hadn't seen Sandy since the night he gave you the extra dream dust. Jack told you that he had to constantly travel the globe so that he could reach all the children in a single night, sort of like a 24/7 job. Wow and you thought that running a marathon was hard.
Also (by some strange miracle) your sickness hadn't been effecting you so much. Your asthma attacks had beco

You couldn't sleep that night. It wasn't nightmares or overthinking that kept you up, but the unimaginable piercing pain that echoed through your legs. You didn't even dare to leave your room to get painkillers due to the amount of fear that yo
